Fred Baker

Fred Baker is a writer-actor, sound designer and theatre-maker based in Nottingham. Recent writing credits include The Ghost Hunters (2025), a short film produced by the National Youth Theatre, Ignite (Netflix UK) and The Ancillary, which was shared at Company One (Nottingham Playhouse) in 2024 and 2025.

Fred became a member of the National Youth Theatre in 2025, and completed Nottingham Playhouse’s Homegrown Creatives programme in 2024.

As a sound designer and facilitator, Fred has worked both across the UK and internationally, engaging audiences of all ages. Fred has facilitated a variety of family arts events across Nottingham and beyond, and is passionate about widening access to creativity.

Francesca Hess

Francesca is an actor and writer from Nottingham. Her first play, that face should form another was nominated for the David MacLennan Award, BOLD Playwriting Award, Theatre503 International Playwrighting Award 2025 and is currently being developed with support from Nottingham Playhouse.
